Botanical Dermo-Cosmetics

Discover the scientific and clinical principles that back GERMANIUM formulas in coadjutant care for psoriasis.

Safe Formulation

The Ideal Alternative to Topical Steroids

Topical steroids (corticoids) are effective short-term chemical prescription drugs, but carry serious side effects in prolonged applications (skin atrophy, rebound effect, systemic absorption with risks of high blood pressure or diabetes).

The formulas of the GERMANIUM® brand are the result of years of research by pharmacists at Laboratorios Indermo. Designed to be the closest to the ideal coadjutant:

  • Steroid-Free: Does not alter blood pressure or blood glucose levels.
  • Plant Actives: Botanical ingredients compatible with skin physiology.
  • Long-Term Use: Indicated as a daily dermo-protective cosmetic with no time limit.
  • Safe Topical Use: Applied locally, preventing any type of ingestion or hepatic assimilation.

Evolution

Relief Phases in Psoriasis

The dermo-vegetable action of Germanium acts progressively, respecting the natural regeneration cycles of the epidermis.

01

Day 1: Start of Outbreak

The skin shows red plaques covered with white and thick scaling (especially on elbows and knees) with constant itching or discomfort.

21

Day 21: Full Relief

Regulation of scaling progresses visibly. Redness decreases and the thickness of dead cell plaques is drastically reduced.

35

Day 35: Remission

Psoriasis symptoms subside to minimal levels. The skin regains its flexibility and smoothness, reducing itching to a practically imperceptible level.

Types of Localized Psoriasis

Psoriasis in plaques (Psoriasis Vulgaris)

Corresponds to 80% of people suffering from this condition. It manifests as red plaques covered with whitish and dry scales, usually located on elbows, knees, lower back, and scalp.

Psoriasis in drops (Guttate)

Presents as small drop-shaped reddish spots distributed over the trunk and limbs. It commonly arises after bacterial throat infections and responds optimally to light textures like Germanium Gel.

Reverse psoriasis (In folds)

Located exclusively in skin folds (armpits, groin, under breasts). It does not present dry scales due to moisture in the area, but shows intense redness and strong itching. For these cases, Germanium Cream is advised for a prolonged period.
